Q: Do I need a membership to book a room?

A: No. Anyone may book a room and enjoy the full use of the facility with the regular room rates. All guests receive the same outstanding attention and all of the privileges afforded to members.

Q: What's included with the room rates?

A: Room rates include full use of the facility, swimming pool, sauna and steam room use, three-course breakfasts, and five-course dinners for each day of your stay. Horseback riding or lessons are included with bookings of four days or more.

Q: Why should I need a membership then?

A: Membership at the Ranch is intended for those who wish to return regularly, to enjoy the facilities, grounds, swimming pool and to purchase outstanding dinners from the dining room.

Even if you won't return to the Ranch soon, you're going to remember the food. In that case, you'll want the Buyer's Club Membership which gives you the same access to the online store and the Butcher Box subscriptions, but without the obligation of returning to the Ranch.

Q: What's included in the membership?

A: In addition to full use of the facilities, lounge and dining room access, members receive access to the online store, for subscriptions to the Butcher Boxes, Sauce Box and Pasta Box - literally tons of food shipped out every month.

Members also enjoy a 20% discount for overnight stays anytime from November 1st through May 1st (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Weeks and New Year's Weekend.) Members visit year-round for a club atmosphere and for enjoying some of the finest in home-cooked and farm-to-table meals in the Central New York region.

Q: Can I book dinner without a membership?

A: YES. However, you'll need to agree to the membership terms prior to seating. Anyone may book dinner, but a member must be seated and with the paid membership, we'll be happy to seat additional guests, friends and family.

Q: What about spa services?

A: All spa services, from massages to facials or body treatments, are provided through external providers. As such, they are not included in the room-rates, nor in the membership fee.  They also won't count toward your annual food and beverage tab. That said, the Ranch is pleased to maintain a list of the very best local spa service providers and, with prior notice, we'll be happy to schedule their services to coincide with your stay.
